These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services, website, courses, platforms, and educational programs offered by Sanrise Education Inc. (“Sanrise”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By accessing our website, enrolling in a course, using our learning platforms, or communicating with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our services.

Sanrise Education Inc. provides online educational services, including Ontario secondary school credit courses and related academic support.
Students under the age of majority may use our services with the involvement or consent of a parent or legal guardian where appropriate.
Enrollment in a course does not guarantee:
Admission to any post-secondary institution;
Transferability of credits to another institution;
Graduation eligibility; or
Acceptance by a particular school board, homeschool authority, college, university, or educational institution.
Students and parents/guardians are responsible for confirming academic requirements and credit recognition with their homeschool, school board, or educational institution where applicable.
In many cases, the student’s official Ontario Student Record (“OSR”) is maintained by the student’s homeschool, public school, private school, school board, or another educational institution.
Unless otherwise required by law or separate written agreement:
Sanrise does not maintain the official OSR;
Sanrise does not assume responsibility for official diploma issuance; and
Sanrise may provide grades, attendance information, assessments, report cards, and course completion information to the responsible educational institution, parent/guardian, or authorized representative.
Students and parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that records submitted to another institution are accurate and accepted by that institution.
Students agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information;
Maintain the confidentiality of login credentials;
Participate honestly and academically;
Submit original work unless otherwise permitted;
Comply with course requirements and instructions;
Respect instructors, staff, and other students; and
Use Sanrise systems lawfully and responsibly.
Students must not:
Cheat, plagiarize, impersonate another person, or engage in academic dishonesty;
Interfere with platform security or operations;
Share copyrighted course materials without permission;
Use Sanrise systems for unlawful, abusive, or harmful purposes; or
Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
Sanrise reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or academic integrity policies.
Where applicable, parents or guardians agree to:
Provide accurate information;
Support compliance with course requirements;
Review communications relating to minors where appropriate; and
Ensure payment obligations are fulfilled.
Tuition, course fees, and related charges must be paid in accordance with the payment terms provided at registration or checkout.
Payments are securely processed through Stripe.
Sanrise reserves the right to:
Refuse enrollment for unpaid balances;
Suspend access to courses or services for overdue accounts; and
Correct pricing errors or inaccuracies.
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.
Refunds, withdrawals, transfers, or course cancellations may be subject to separate refund or enrollment policies communicated at the time of registration.
Unless otherwise required by law, Sanrise reserves the right to determine eligibility for refunds, credits, or administrative fees.
Requests relating to withdrawals or refunds should be submitted to info@sanrise.ca.
Sanrise expects students to maintain high standards of academic honesty.
Academic misconduct may include:
Plagiarism;
Cheating;
Unauthorized collaboration;
Use of unauthorized artificial intelligence tools where prohibited;
Impersonation; or
Submission of work that is not the student’s own.
Sanrise may investigate suspected academic misconduct and may impose consequences including:
Assignment penalties;
Grade reductions;
Course failure;
Suspension; or
Removal from a course or program.
Academic decisions made by instructors or administrators are final unless otherwise stated.
Sanrise may provide reasonable educational accommodations where appropriate and where sufficient information has been voluntarily provided.
Accommodation-related information, including portions of Individual Education Plans (“IEPs”) or accessibility documentation, is used solely for legitimate educational support purposes.
Students and parents/guardians remain responsible for communicating accommodation needs in a timely manner.
Sanrise reserves the right to determine the scope and feasibility of accommodations based on course requirements, available information, and operational considerations.
Sanrise uses third-party platforms and technologies including WordPress, Moodle, Stripe, Brevo, analytics providers, and cloud-based systems.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to services, platforms, or websites.
Sanrise is not responsible for:
Internet outages;
Device compatibility issues;
Third-party platform failures;
Data transmission delays; or
Technical issues outside our reasonable control.
Students are responsible for maintaining adequate internet access and compatible devices.
All website content, course materials, branding, graphics, videos, documents, text, logos, assessments, and educational materials are owned by or licensed to Sanrise Education Inc. unless otherwise stated.
Materials may not be:
Reproduced;
Distributed;
Sold;
Modified;
Uploaded; or
Shared publicly
without prior written permission from Sanrise.
Limited personal educational use is permitted for enrolled students.
By providing contact information, you consent to receive:
Administrative communications;
Enrollment information;
Academic updates;
Technical notices; and
Other service-related communications.
Where permitted by law, Sanrise may also send newsletters or promotional communications.
Users may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using our services, you acknowledge that personal information may be collected, used, disclosed, and stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Our website or services may contain links to third-party websites, services, or educational resources.
Sanrise is not responsible for:
Third-party content;
External websites;
Third-party policies;
Service interruptions; or
Actions or omissions of third parties.
Users access third-party services at their own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sanrise Education Inc., its directors, employees, contractors, instructors, affiliates, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or relating to:
Use of or inability to use our services;
Educational outcomes;
Credit recognition decisions made by third parties;
Technical interruptions;
Data loss;
Unauthorized access; or
Reliance on information provided through our services.
Sanrise’s total liability relating to any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the student or customer for the applicable course or service.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sanrise Education Inc. and its representatives from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:
Violations of these Terms;
Misuse of services;
Academic misconduct;
Violation of applicable laws; or
Infringement of intellectual property or other rights.
Sanrise reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to services at its discretion where:
These Terms are violated;
Academic misconduct occurs;
Payment obligations are not met;
Conduct threatens the safety, integrity, or operations of our services; or
Required by law or operational necessity.
Termination or suspension does not eliminate outstanding payment obligations.
Sanrise shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including:
Natural disasters;
Internet or telecommunications failures;
Government actions;
Cybersecurity incidents;
Labour disruptions; or
Platform or infrastructure outages.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
Any disputes relating to these Terms or the services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
Sanrise may update or modify these Terms from time to time.
Updated versions will be posted with a revised effective date.
Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
