Course Description: In Grade 12 Physics at Sanrise, students deepen their understanding of advanced physics concepts, including kinematics, dynamics, energy systems, waves, and electromagnetism. This course is designed to connect these concepts to real-world applications, making physics both practical and intellectually engaging.

Students develop their problem-solving skills, refine their analytical reasoning, and learn to communicate their understanding of complex physical systems with clarity and precision. Our curriculum is enriched with culturally relevant examples that help students connect physics to real-world technologies, natural phenomena, and global challenges.

Examine Physical Systems

Students will develop an understanding of how forces, energy, fields, and waves interact to describe and predict complex physical systems in the natural and technological world.

Develop Advanced Reasoning

Students will strengthen their ability to analyze and model physical phenomena using mathematical relationships, logical reasoning, and evidence-based investigation of modern physics concepts.

Connect Science to the Earth

Students explore how scientific principles explain the physical world around them, from everyday phenomena to natural and technological systems.

Build Confidence Through Observation

Students develop confidence in observing patterns in the natural world, interpreting evidence, and making sense of how systems and processes are connected.

Learning Experience at Sanrise

Students learn through a structured online environment where lessons, assignments, and course materials are organized through Moodle. Instruction is clear and consistent, with ongoing academic direction to help students stay engaged and progress confidently through the course.
