Course Description: In Grade 9 Science at Sanrise, students explore foundational concepts in biology, chemistry, physics, and Earth science that support success in high school and beyond. This course is designed to make scientific learning clear and accessible through real-world examples and inquiry-based exploration.
Students develop problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to apply scientific concepts to everyday life. Learning is supported through relevant examples and perspectives that help students connect science to their lived experiences and the world around them.
By the end of the course, students will have a strong understanding of key scientific concepts and the confidence to engage with more advanced science courses in the future.
