Course Description: In Grade 9 Mathematics at Sanrise, students will explore the foundational concepts that will help them succeed in high school and beyond. This course is designed to make math relatable and easy to understand, whether you’re learning about algebra, geometry, or data management.
They will learn how to solve problems, think critically, and apply math to real-life situations. Our teachers use examples from your everyday life and cultural experiences to make learning math both fun and meaningful. Consequently, this curriculum is intended to support all students in continuing to build confidence in approaching mathematics, develop a positive attitude towards mathematics, think critically, work collaboratively, and feel that they are reflected in mathematics learning.
By the end of the course, students will have a solid understanding of key mathematical concepts and the confidence to tackle more complex subjects in the future.
