All Sanrise courses offer a social-emotional learning (SEL) curriculum grounded in Africentric principles that nurture academic progress and character development of high school students.
We believe students thrive when learning environments support confidence, self-awareness, emotional well-being, and a strong sense of cultural identity alongside academic achievement.Â
Our Africentric SEL curriculum is designed to respond to the lived experiences of our community while drawing on shared histories, cultural knowledge, and self-compassion as pathways toward alignment, restoration and elevation.
Students build confidence through structured lessons and consistent academic progress, helping them feel more capable in their subject areas over time.
Students receive access to educators and learning experiences that affirm their culture while maintaining strong academic standards and mentorship.
Smaller learning groups allow for more focused instruction and stronger student engagement throughout the course.
