Africentric Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Curriculum

All Sanrise courses offer a social-emotional learning (SEL) curriculum grounded in Africentric principles that nurture academic progress and character development of high school students.

We believe students thrive when learning environments support confidence, self-awareness, emotional well-being, and a strong sense of cultural identity alongside academic achievement. 

Our Africentric SEL curriculum is designed to respond to the lived experiences of our community while drawing on shared histories, cultural knowledge, and self-compassion as pathways toward alignment, restoration and elevation.
